Our client is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead management accounting costing financial reporting and business intelligence within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to partner directly with senior leadership influence strategic decision-making and drive business performance through meaningful financial analysis and reporting.

Our client is looking to employ a Finance Manager based in Northern Suburbs Cape Town

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee financial management reporting and the preparation of accurate management accounts.
• Conduct management accounting financial analysis and provide insights to support business performance.
• Manage cash flow working capital and financial liquidity to ensure operational stability.
• Lead budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory tax and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and develop the finance function and finance team.
• Strengthen financial controls processes systems and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with the Managing Director / management team to provide commercially focused financial guidance support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities to improve profitability and business performance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• BCom Accounting / Financial Accounting / Management Accounting or equivalent is must!
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate finance/accounting experience
• 2-3 years in a Senior Accounting Management Accounting / Finance Management role within a Manufacturing/Production/ factory environment.
• Proven experience in standard costing Bills of Materials (BOMs) product costing and margin analysis.
• Strong background in budgeting forecasting variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory management and stock reporting within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial analysis and report
• Proven experience using Power BI for reporting dashboard creation and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems with Syspro experience highly advantageous.
• Cash flow forecasting and financial analysis background
• Demonstrated ability to interpret financial and operational data providing meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management
