Were on the hunt for a Financial Director who understands how a data-driven business makes money.

Our client turns data into insights that businesses rely on and as they scale they need a finance leader who understands the economics of a data- or subscription-driven model not just traditional finance.

This is a hands-on commercially focused role spanning financial reporting budgeting and forecasting business-unit profitability cost and margin analysis cash flow risk and governance across multiple business units. Youll also help strengthen financial systems and reporting and support the businesss expansion into new African markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Youll suit this role if you:

Are CA(SA) or CIMA qualified with strong cost & management accounting and financial modelling experience
Have operated in a technology data SaaS subscription or similarly commercially driven environment
Understand profitability unit economics and recurring revenue
Are comfortable engaging at Board and senior leadership level
Enjoy building improving and implementing rather than simply maintaining
Are commercially minded hands-on and prepared to get into the detail when required
Are open to travel in support of African market expansion
