Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy organisation and delivering high-quality financial supportOur client is looking for a Finance Clerk to join their Head Office Finance Team and play an important role in supporting accurate and efficient financial processes across the Group.

What youll be responsible for:
Financial Processing and Administration- Processing daily receipts payments cashbook entries and journal allocations
- Reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies timeously
- Capturing and verifying supplier invoices and credit notes
- Preparing and processing supplier payments via online banking
- Performing monthly supplier reconciliations and resolving outstanding queries
- Providing administrative support across creditors debtors revenue reporting petty cash and related finance functions
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports and supporting schedules
- Ensuring accurate and timely capturing of financial data in Pastel
- Supporting the Finance Team with month-end processes and reporting requirements
- Responding to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders within agreed timelines
- Liaising with suppliers regarding statements queries and payment arrangements
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues suppliers and hotel teams
- Upholding the Groups values and contributing positively to the workplace culture
- Supporting sustainability initiatives within the Finance Department and broader business
- Contributing to a collaborative professional and service-focused Finance Team
What youll need:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a finance or accounting environment
- Essential experience in creditors cashbook and/or petty cash
- Working knowledge of Pastel Accounting Micros and Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
- High level of accuracy and commitment to financial compliance
- Ability to prioritise workloads and consistently meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive organised and service-oriented approach
