Job Summary

The main purpose of this role is to work in close collaboration with finance department to instill a controlled environment with a high level of financial awareness.


Required Skills:

  • Regular reporting and follow-up of financial health checks.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to department to resolve any queries across departments.
  • Direct involvement in stock take variance reporting and investigations / non-compliance monitoring.
  • Coordinate capture and report on weekly monthly and year-end stock counts.
  • Investigating stock discrepancies in all warehouses (SOILL and Outside Warehouses) and liaising with relevant parties to resolve any stock related issues. Ensure that records are updated timeously for MRP purposes.
  • Highlighting of damaged / expired stock damages to relevant parties.
  • Ensure allocations of costs relating to stock adjustments are done correctly.
  • Monitoring of stock values and stock adjustments daily per warehouse.
  • Assist with month end and year end closings.
  • Assist with annual audit.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with all relevant departments.
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes.
  • Routine monthly reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Ad hoc tasks as per Manager.

Health and Safety

  • Participate in safety forums created by SOILL for example safety meetings and safety talks
  • Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives/management
  • Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
  • Attend safety education and refresher programmes
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures at SOILL
  • Distribute safety information as and when required
  • Always wear protective clothing (where applicable)
