Feature Analyst Midrand Hybrid R1000k PA

We are looking for an experienced Feature Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic Agile delivery environment focused on building innovative custom software solutions.

Key Requirements

• 67 years experience in Business Analysis within custom software development environments
• Relevant qualification preferred:
  • BCom ; BSc ;Diploma
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification or equivalent
• Agile certification advantageous.
• Strong Agile and Scrum experience with at least 3 years working on Agile projects.
• Proven experience writing:
  • User Stories
  • Epics
  • Features
    aligned to INVEST principles.
• Experience translating business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications for complex integrated systems.
• Working knowledge of:
  • Open API Specification (OAS) 2.0 & 3.0
  • JSON
  • XML
• Understanding of:
  • Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong stakeholder engagement facilitation and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business processes products and value chains
• Elicit analyse document validate and communicate business requirements with minimal supervision
• Write clear concise and development-ready user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to maintain a well-prioritised backlog
• Challenge and refine business requirements to ensure clarity value and feasibility
• Support Agile delivery teams through continuous collaboration and requirement clarification
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted consultant throughout the project lifecycle
