Plettenberg Bay area Western Cape Province South Africa: This opportunity allows for early involvement in the restoration of what was once one of the areas most prestigious farms.
The successful candidate will oversee operations on the farm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Computer literate Excel and Word essential
- Valid drivers licence
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Mechanical experience
- Proven experience managing staff including large work teams
- Stock management experience (horses / cattle)
- Pasture management experience including the clearing of alien species
- Fodder production experience
- Able to liaise with the accounting team and participate in management meetings
- Able to participate in the creation of robust management systems enabling smooth farm operations
- Able to source necessary farm purchases at the best value
- Compost experience
- Worm farming experience (advantageous)
- Avocado orchard experience advantageous but not essential this role is not for an avocado production manager
