Facilities Manager Luxury Health & Fitness Club Gauteng North

Salary: R20000 R25000 per month (DOE)

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Manager to join a luxury health and fitness club in Gauteng North.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive facilities professional with strong maintenance and operational experience who is passionate about ensuring a safe functional and well-maintained environment for members guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the facility
  
• Implement preventative maintenance programmes across the property
  
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and service providers
  
• Monitor the condition of building infrastructure equipment and utilities
  
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations
  
• Manage maintenance budgets quotations and expenditure
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset registers
  
• Conduct routine inspections and identify areas requiring attention
  
• Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors
  
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues to minimise operational disruption
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar maintenance management role
  
• Experience within hospitality leisure health and fitness or commercial facilities would be advantageous
  
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance electrical plumbing HVAC and general facilities management
  
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
  
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  
• Strong leadership and contractor management abilities
  
• Computer literacy and experience with maintenance management systems would be advantageous
  
• Valid drivers licence preferred
  
• Hands-on proactive and able to work under pressure
