Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer specializing in F5 technologies to provide onsite support and enhance the current permanent support team. The role involves delivering Tier 2/3 support with a strong focus on first-line support calls while also contributing to projects design deployment and management of F5 load balancing and security solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the availability performance and security of application delivery infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for F5 and related network/security issues.
  • Handle and resolve 1st line support calls and incidents efficiently.
  • Design deploy and configure F5 BIG-IP solutions (including ASM).
  • Troubleshoot and optimize F5 load balancing environments.
  • Participate in infrastructure and security projects.
  • Support and maintain application delivery and security services.
  • Assist with implementation and optimization of security controls.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Qualifications

  • Matric and a Tertiary Qualification
  • F5 Certified Specialist BIG-IP ASM (Application Security Manager) mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years practical experience working with F5 technologies.
  • CISSP certification
