Our client a leading South African distributor of fabrics and wallpapers is seeking an experienced External Sales Representative to join their team in Pretoria.
This is an exciting opportunity for a target-driven sales professional to manage an existing client base while actively developing new business across Pretoria and surrounding areas.

Requirements:
- 35 years proven external sales experience.
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle essential.
- Matric / Grade 12 essential.
- Sales Marketing Textile Interior Design or related qualification advantageous.
- Experience within textiles fabrics curtaining upholstery wallpaper interior décor or related industries is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong new business development and prospecting skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing ability.
- Confident with face-to-face customer engagement and presentations.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
- Professional confident self-motivated and target driven.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
- Manage and grow an existing customer base.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and presentations.
- Generate leads and develop new accounts.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Prepare quotations negotiate pricing and close sales.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts.
- Manage the Pretoria territory and plan daily customer visits.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular reports.
