Job Summary
Our client is a national supplier of industrial chemicals serving various sectors across South Africa. They are seeking an experienced External Sales Executive to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business through cold calling referrals research and market development.
- Grow and maintain the customer base through new business cross-selling and strong client relationships.
- Conduct regular client visits and submit weekly call plans.
- Identify customer needs through site visits and needs analysis.
- Prepare and present quotations proposals samples and product information.
- Maintain accurate customer pricing and sales records.
- Provide regular customer feedback sales reports and stock forecasts.
- Manage and develop the sales pipeline and convert opportunities into business.
- Achieve agreed sales gross profit retention and growth targets.
- Maintain professional standards and comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
- External sales account management or business development experience preferably in chemical industrial agricultural or related sectors.
- Relevant sales/marketing qualification advantageous.
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel.
- Computer literate with CRM email spreadsheet and reporting experience.
- Experience with quotations proposals forecasting and customer records.
- Good commercial awareness communication and negotiation skills.
