Executive Head Information Technology

A leading platinum mining company is seeking a Head of IT and Digital Information to join its EXCO and lead the organisations digital and smart-mining transformation.
This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned IT executive to shape enterprise strategy governance and technology innovation across a capital-intensive operationally complex environment.

What youll lead:
Enterprise-wide IT governance (King IV/V COBIT ITIL ISO 27001)
Smart mining transformation AI IIoT OT/SCADA integration and big data
Major systems leadership including SAP and enterprise architecture
Cybersecurity strategy and information asset protection
Multi-million-rand CAPEX/OPEX budgets and strategic vendor partnerships
Board-level reporting and EXCO participation

What you bring:
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field MBA/MSc or equivalent
CISM CISSP CRISC COBIT or TOGAF certification
1215 years progressive IT experience including 5 years at Senior Management/Executive level
Proven experience in mining heavy industry or capital-intensive sectors
Deep knowledge of OT/IT convergence and operational technology in industrial settings
