Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Environmental Scientist to join their mining company based in will be responsible for managing EIAs and WULs auditing compliance and overseeing biodiversity waste and water management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental permit applications including EIAs and WULs ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Audit client operations against environmental authorisations and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct research and prepare reports on biodiversity waste management and water management.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans monitoring programs and sustainability initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance to clients and junior staff on environmental compliance best practices and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Environmental Management or equivalent
- 5 years experience consulting within the mining industry
- Valid Drivers License
