Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Banking Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the banking industry with a strong grasp of both business and technical landscapes including providing opportunities for overall direction and definition of enterprise architecture that effectively supports business strategies. This role requires exceptional communication skills to engage and influence executive-level decision-makers and the ability to design and implement innovative digital transformation strategies. Works as an advocate and brings enterprise architecture research trends and insights across the local and global banking sector.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management.

Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF) is a plus.
- Cloud related certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Google Cloud Architect or Azure Architect
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture with at least 5 years within the banking sector.
- Proven ability to consult and communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders in large organizations.
- Deep understanding of banking operations including digital transformation core banking systems payments and lending.
- Exceptional communication presentation and interpersonal skills tailored to executive audiences.
- Strong proficiency in designing and developing scalable banking or finance systems.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g. Basel III GDPR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives in large banks translating business goals into strategic technology initiatives.
- Provide expert insights on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in banking and digital transformation.
- Design and deliver cutting-edge digital banking solutions ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the development of architecture frameworks for large-scale digital initiatives including core banking modernization digital payments and omni-channel banking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders facilitating workshops and presentations to align vision and strategy.
- Lead business and technical discussions presentations and workshops with senior client stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate complex technical solutions in business terms to senior executives.
- Evaluate recommend and implement emerging technologies to enhance client competitiveness in the digital banking space.
- Oversee the integration of cloud platforms microservices APIs and other digital technologies into banking systems.
- Ensure alignment of solutions with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers project managers and business analysts to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Stay updated with the latest banking technologies industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in client solutions.
