Engineering Draughtsperson

Our client is a leading engineering and infrastructure consultancy delivering innovative engineering solutions across the built environment and infrastructure sectors.

They are currently seeking an Engineering Draughtsperson to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of building and structural engineering projects producing accurate BIM models structural drawings and reinforcement detailing in collaboration with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• 810 years relevant experience in the management and execution of projects
• Education: National Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification
• Experience with all types of building structures; civil structures experience will be advantageous
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is essential
• Experience in BIM modelling structural drafting and reinforcement detailing

Responsibilities:

• Develop BIM models and produce structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Undertake reinforcement detailing and prepare accurate construction drawings
• Assist with conceptual design development and preliminary drawings for refinement by the engineer
• Translate engineering designs and specifications into functional economical and technically accurate drawings
• Ensure drawings provide clear and unambiguous information for construction execution
