An exciting opportunity exists for a professionally registered Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of building services projects while providing technical guidance managing project teams and ensuring high-quality engineering solutions across multiple disciplines.
Job Description:
- Lead the design coordination and delivery of mechanical engineering projects
- Manage project scope budgets timelines and quality standards
- Oversee the design of HVAC wet services and fire protection systems
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Liaise with clients contractors and project stakeholders
- Conduct site visits and support project implementation and commissioning
- Minimum 8 years of mechanical building services design and site experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC ventilation wet services and fire protection systems
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects to deadlines
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to project sites
- BEng BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (PrEng)
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects from concept through completion
