Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the Port Elizabeth team
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial industrial and healthcare environments
- Install electrical wiring conduit cable trays switchgear distribution boards lighting and power systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings schematics and technical specifications
- Perform cable termination and electrical equipment connections
- Conduct planned and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
- Replace defective electrical components and equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required
- Assist with installation and electrical commissioning of sterilizers autoclaves and associated equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical faults on sterilization systems
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Trade Tested Electrician
- Minimum 3 years experience in electrical installations and maintenance
- Experience working within hospitals laboratories healthcare facilities or sterilization environments will be advantageous
- Experience in commercial industrial and/or residential electrical projects
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Understanding of electrical safety regulations
- Valid drivers license essential
Required Skills:
Grade 12 Trade Tested Electrician Minimum 3 years experience in electrical installations and maintenance Experience working within hospitals laboratories healthcare facilities or sterilization environments will be advantageous Experience in commercial industrial and/or residential electrical projects Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Understanding of electrical safety regulations Valid drivers license essential
