Minimum Requirements
Macsteel VRN Gauteng has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Electrician. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical electronic control breakdown repair preventative maintenance plant maintenance installations and general office maintenance while ensuring health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Suitably qualified/experienced as an Electrician (An experienced Electrician with experience in steel manufacturing or related heavy machinery - Essential
- Minimum 5 years working related experience in similar position.
- Prepared to work overtime Shifts and Callouts
- Knowledge on safety awareness
- Knowledge of overhead cranes and working on heights
- Knowledge of CNC machines
- Mechanical knowledge
- AC & DC Drives- Essential
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be able to read schematic drawings
- General Electric maintenance
- Light current fault finding - Essential
