Job Summary
Are you an electrically qualified professional who enjoys both technical sales and project management Join a growing engineering company where youll work directly with clients identify project opportunities provide technical solutions and manage projects from initial enquiry through to successful commissioning and handover.
Job Description:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and identify project opportunities
- Prepare quotations project scopes and technical proposals
- Manage projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion
- Coordinate project resources suppliers and installation teams
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams
- Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within specification
- Assist with commissioning troubleshooting and project handovers
- Maintain project documentation and customer communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Minimum 5 years experience within the electrical or industrial engineering industry
- Experience in technical sales project engineering or project management
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and industrial applications
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience preparing quotations estimates and technical proposals
- Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication planning and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on approach with strong project ownership capabilities
- Experience with automation control systems or commissioning advantageous
- Knowledge of PLCs VSDs control panels and related electrical systems advantageous
Qualification:
- Trade Tested Electrician or Millwright
- N4 N5 or N6 Electrical Engineering advantageous
- PLC and VSD training advantageous
- Project management experience advantageous
- Valid Drivers Licence required for customer visits and site support
