Candidate Requirements
Takora Human Capital is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Engineer / Technologist to join their team.
We are looking for a technically strong professional with consulting engineering experience across building services electrical infrastructure reticulation MV distribution and engineering projects.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
(Eng) or in Electrical Engineering
510 years post-qualification experience
ECSA Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng registration is highly advantageous
At least 2 years post-registration experience preferred
Unregistered candidates with 6 years experience may be considered if eligible for ECSA registration
Valid drivers licence and own transport
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal candidate should have experience in:
Electrical building services design
Urban & rural electrical reticulation
Medium Voltage (MV) distribution networks
Municipal infrastructure projects
Water & wastewater infrastructure
Pump stations and related electrical systems
Solar PV systems
Fire detection systems
Tender documentation
Contract administration and construction oversight
Quality control and construction methodologies
Client and stakeholder management
Technical reporting and project administration
SOFTWARE
Experience with:
AutoCAD essential
Relux essential
DIALux advantageous
Revit MEP advantageous
BIM / Autodesk Construction Cloud advantageous
