Electrical Engineer Gauteng

An opportunity is available for an Electrical Engineer to support the technical performance reliability and continuous improvement of our clients FMCG manufacturing facility in Gauteng

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical engineering support across manufacturing operations
• Manage and support electrical maintenance and improvement projects
• Investigate electrical equipment failures and implement corrective solutions
• Optimise plant electrical systems to improve reliability and efficiency
• Support the design installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
• Work closely with maintenance production and automation teams
• Assist with electrical fault finding and root-cause investigations
• Develop and review electrical drawings specifications and technical documentation
• Monitor compliance with electrical safety and engineering standards
• Support capital projects and equipment upgrades
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and plant performance
• Assist with preventative maintenance strategies and equipment reliability
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance and production personnel
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• BEng/ BSc/ BTech Electrical Engineering
• ECSA registration
• Electrical engineering experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and plant utilities
• Knowledge of automation PLCs and control systems would be advantageous
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
