Job Summary

Our client in Pretoria-West is looking for an Electrical Draughtsman who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of electrical drawings Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) product drawings and manufacturing documentation for Solar PV Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and OEM renewable energy products. National Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Electrical Draughting or a related technical discipline and a minimum 3-5 years of drafting experience in the renewable energy electrical manufacturing or power systems industry required.

Required Qualifications:

National Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering Electrical Draughting or a related technical discipline.
Formal CAD qualification or certification.
Additional renewable energy or Solar PV training would be advantageous.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of drafting experience in the renewable energy electrical manufacturing or power systems industry.
Experience developing Solar PV Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
Experience creating product drawings for electrical equipment and OEM products.
Experience supporting manufacturing and assembly operations.
Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy products is highly advantageous.
