Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician

We have a vacancy for an Electric Vehicle Technician with a vehicle dealership based in Pretoria.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for servicing and maintaining electric vehicles diagnosing electrical electronic and mechanical faults carrying out repairs performing diagnostic testing and ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Motor Mechanic with a recognised Trade Test Certificate.

• Experience or specialised training in electric vehicle technology would be highly beneficial.

• Knowledge of electric vehicle systems including high-voltage batteries electric motors and electrical systems.

• Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience as a Technician within a vehicle dealership.

• Experience working within a corporate vehicle dealership is essential.

• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and modern vehicle technologies.

• Valid South African drivers licence.

• Clear criminal record.

• Solid employment track record with contactable references.
