- Bachelors Degree in IT Management Computer Science Information Technology Management Information Systems or a related field.
- Additional professional certifications highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years experience within Information Technology.
- At least 5 years experience in a management role.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple areas including:
- Project Management;
- Data Management and Security;
- Network Management and Security;
- Infrastructure Management;
- Vendor Management.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities including performance management and staff development.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong understanding of IT governance cybersecurity risk management and business continuity.
Reporting to the IT Executive the IT Manager will:
- Lead and manage IT teams systems and technology assets across facilities nationwide.
- Translate business strategy into operational IT plans aligned with industry best practice.
- Provide strategic technology guidance to the Executive Committee.
- Ensure alignment with Group IT security modernisation governance and audit requirements.
- Oversee the planning implementation maintenance and optimisation of all IT infrastructure.
- Manage annual IT budgets cost forecasting software licensing and vendor contracts.
- Lead and oversee IT projects including upgrades implementations and system migrations.
- Ensure effective management of IT operations service delivery access controls backups disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and key stakeholders ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.
- Drive the transition from legacy on-premises environments to modern cloud-based platforms.
- Identify evaluate and implement emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
