Purpose of Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Driver/Storeman reporting into the Service Centre Manager to assist with Driving and Storeman Duties at Mokopane Branch.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety First:

  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Follow all safety health and environmental procedures.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials (where applicable).
  • Use PPE and enforce compliance within the store area

Inventory Management:

  • Load stock / spares received on system
  • Control incoming and outgoing stock
  • Picking and binning
  • Pack and crate stock for customer orders
  • General warehouse stock control.
  • Stock take/cycle count.

Issuing & Receiving:

  • Inspection of parts for potential defects
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Correct identification of Weir parts
  • Delivery of Weir spares
  • Perform cycle counts on stock
  • Management of stores / stock
  • Maintain Weir delivery vehicles and operate with due diligence

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Grade 12 Certificate

Valid Drivers License (Code 10) and Professional Drivers Permit

Forklift and Overhead Crane Licenses

Computer literacy (SAP Knowledge)

2-3 years related experience
