THE MISSION

• As Mamas Door Attendant youre the master of first impressions.
• Before guests even reach Reception youre already making them feel at home with your warm smile positive energy and attentive service. Whether youre welcoming visitors assisting residents handling luggage or helping guests find their way around youre always ready to lend a hand.
• You keep a watchful eye on the entrance ensuring everyone is welcomed guided and looked after. Safety security and service are your three best friends.
• Need help with bags Youve got it. Directions to the rooftop Easy. Last-minute guest request Consider it handled.
• Working closely with the Concierge and Front Office teams you help keep the guest journey seamless from arrival to departure. Whether youre escorting guests to their rooms supporting logistics behind the scenes or ensuring deliveries arrive safely you know that every detail matters.
• You treat every guest resident visitor and colleague with kindness professionalism and a little Mama magic.
• And because you take pride in your surroundings you make sure equipment storage areas and vehicles stay clean organized and guest-ready at all times.
• At the end of the day youre much more than the person at the door... youre the guardian of Mamas welcome.

Qualifications :

MADE FOR YOU ONLY IF...

• You genuinely love people and know how to make everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
• Youre always alert and observant. Nothing escapes your attention whether its a guest needing assistance or a safety concern that requires action.
• You enjoy being active and dont mind carrying luggage assisting with deliveries or helping wherever needed.
• Youre calm under pressure and stay professional even when the lobby gets busy.
• Service is in your DNA. You believe that no request is too small when it comes to creating memorable guest experiences.
• Youre a team player who works hand-in-hand with Concierge Reception Housekeeping and every department across Mama.
• You understand that confidentiality and discretion are essential. What happens at Mama stays at Mama.
• Youve got a valid drivers licence and can confidently assist with transportation duties when required.
• Now lets test you: A guest arrives with four suitcases a resident needs directions a courier is waiting at the gate and Reception asks for your help. Whats your next move

• You have at least 2 years experience in a guest-facing hospitality concierge security or customer service role.
• Bonus points if you know Cape Town well enough to share a few local gems with our guests!
