We are looking for dedicated Home Cleaners or experienced Support Workers studying for a qualification to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home support services to our valued clients.

Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years we have been supporting older people and people living with disability to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

The role:

Working with a roster of repeat clients in your local area provide each client with support that is respectful dignified safe and encourages independence.

Services include:

• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning laundry and meal preparation
• Social support/transportation for social activities shopping/groceries travelling to medical appointments
• Noticing and reporting changes in the well-being of customers

We encourage applicants who are seeking paid work while studying for Certificate III in Individual Support as a career pathway to becoming a fully-qualified Support Worker for our aged care and disability clients

About you:

• Caring compassionate & friendly
• Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
• Reliable & dependable
• Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
• Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

What you will need:

• At least one years experience of In-Home or Commercial cleaning or of Support Work preferably within a medical aged care or NDIS environment
• Current and clear Criminal Record Check
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Reliable registered and fully-insured vehicle
• Smartphone with internet access
