Dispatch Clerk

Overall purpose of the job:Ensure all orders are checked/packed and dispatched timeously and effective communication ismaintainedwith allinternal and dailydispatchreconciliationsmaintaindispatch registerparticipate instock take hocduties as and whenrequired.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure orders handed over are packed for dispatched with relevantcourier service providerappointed.

• Ensure all stock is checked for quality andcorrect quantityprior to being packed.

• Ensure orders are captured with correct detailstoensure delivery to correct addresses.

• Capture waybill information on Courier Service Provider portal andensure all parcels being dispatched have the correct details.

• Ensure all required parcels are handed over toCourier service provider and nomissed parcels.

• Follow up on dispatched orders andcomplete relevant trackers.

• Communicate withcourier service providerdaily on ETA of dispatched orders.

• Communicate with customers daily on ETA of dispatched orders.

• Ensure that all policies and procedures for dispatch activities are adhered to.

• Ensure compliance to dispatch and company SLA agreements.

• Ensure dispatch areas arealways cleaned.

• Trackingoutboundshipments and communicating delayswith relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure warehouse tracking registers are received andvalidatedwith system transactions.

• Ensure Inventory Accuracy by overseeing daily stock movementsincumbentswill minimize discrepancies reduce shrinkage andmaintainaccuraterecords essential for audits.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Matric / Grade 12

• Experience in a warehouse environment beneficial

• Data Capturing

• Excel / Microsoft Office

• SAP Will be an advantage

• Post-Grad qualification will be an advantage
