We are seeking a Director : Commercial for a permanent role based in Durban KwaZulu Natal

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Minimum Degree in Marketing / Sales / Technical; Preferred: MBA
10 years in Sales & Marketing with 3 years at a senior leadership role (managing team leaders)
Code 8 drivers license and willing to travel regularly locally and internationally on occasion

The successful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to:

Business ethics social responsibility and data protection
Timely management oversee the timely procurement of finished goods
Technical division oversee the management of all technical teams
Team leadership manage goal setting; manage performance aspects of direct reports and assist with career planning mentoring and coaching
Market share asset market potential; develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth
Customer first approach deal with customer complaints by liaising with the departments responsible for and ensure prompt handling thereof
Distributor & Dealer Network Management interact with distributors and dealers in all markets / divisions; monthly / quarterly meetings
Market analytics maintain sales volume product mix and selling price; analyse trends and results pricing and new product performance
Executive report on KPIs; prepare and attend key executive meetings
Product launches
