Job Summary
Our client a prominent supplier of fittings hydraulic and industrial hoses and other engineering products seeks to appoint an experienced Diesel Technician. This role will be based in Port Elizabeth.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (relevant trade qualification).
- Extensive knowledge of all major truck makes and models.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience with truck servicing repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of trailer servicing repairs and maintenance.
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable trustworthy and of sober habits.
- Willing to work after hours and participate in a standby roster.
- Valid drivers licence
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Professional in their approach to customers and colleagues.
- Committed to delivering quality workmanship and maintaining high safety standards.
