- At least 10 years proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability on diesel engines and related systems
- Experience working on heavy-duty vehicles or machinery
- Solid understanding of preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards under pressure
- Diagnose service and repair diesel engines and components
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
- Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement lasting solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
