A well-established company in Atlantis is looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Technician to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance fault-finding and repair of electric diesel and LPG/propane forklifts.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance on forklifts.
Inspect engines transmissions brakes electrical systems and wiring.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
Test hydraulic and pneumatic systems and identify leaks or faulty components.
Repair rebuild and replace components including transmissions motors and steering systems.
Weld solder and fabricate metal components where required.
Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Order replacement parts and assist with stock control.
Maintain accurate service repair and maintenance records.
Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean safe and organised workshop.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Forklift Technician / Heavy Equipment Technician / Diesel Mechanic.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Welding and fabrication skills will be advantageous.
Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.
Valid drivers licence preferred.
Relevant technical qualification or trade certification will be an advantage.
