Job Summary

Location: Cape Town South Africa
Work model: Hybrid (1 day from home plus general flexibility)
Salary: R65 000 - R85 000 CTC (depending on experience)

About our client
Our client is a luxury adventure travel company pioneering expeditions to some of the worlds most remote and extraordinary destinations from Cape Town. They deliver world-class hospitality and transformative experiences to a global clientele. This is a rare in-house role at the intersection of luxury adventure travel destination storytelling and commercial design a genuine opportunity to shape how distinctive brands look and feel across every touchpoint.

What the job involves

  • Designing and producing all physical and experiential materials guests encounter (welcome kits itinerary documents signage environmental graphics printed collateral)
  • Creating sales and marketing collateral (brochures proposals presentations seasonal lookbooks) at the highest standard
  • Producing static and motion assets for digital advertising email campaigns and social content
  • Designing landing pages and production for campaign pages booking flows and the online retail experience
  • Designing packaging signage and retail environments for the brands boutique
  • Day-to-day stewardship of brand guidelines working with external partners to evolve and maintain the framework
  • Managing external agency relationships as the client-side lead holding briefs directing work and maintaining brand standards
  • Managing multiple briefs across teams simultaneously and delivering without hand-holding

What you need to be considered

  • 69 years design experience with a portfolio demonstrating genuine range across print digital identity and environmental or spatial work
  • A portfolio link or examples must be included in your application no portfolio no response
  • Experience at a luxury hospitality travel or lifestyle brand (either in-house or agency-side)
  • Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator InDesign Photoshop) and proficiency in Figma
  • A strong command of premium print production (paper stocks finishes print specifications supplier management)
  • Comfort designing for digital performance contexts (ad formats email web e-commerce)
  • Proven ability to manage external agency relationships as the client-side lead
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple briefs and deliver without hand-holding
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Cape Town

Bonus points if you

  • Have motion design capability (After Effects or equivalent)
  • Have basic web production skills (HTML/CSS Webflow or similar)
  • Have retail or packaging design experience
  • Have an understanding of or genuine curiosity about the ultra-luxury and expedition travel space
