Dedicated Cluster Executive

A leading organisation is seeking an accomplished Dedicated Cluster Executive to join its Executive Committee. This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-profile client accounts driving commercial growth leading senior executives and influencing business strategy at the highest level. The successful candidate will be recognised as a potential successor to the CEO making this a rare opportunity for an executive with proven leadership capability and long-term vision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the strategic direction of a complex multi-client commercial portfolio.
• Take full accountability for multi-billion Rand P&L performance revenue growth profitability and operational excellence.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with major FMCG brands retailers and key stakeholders.
• Lead mentor and develop a team of senior executives responsible for large business units.
• Drive client-centric strategies while ensuring collaboration across commercial operational and business development functions.
• Champion innovation digital transformation and data-driven decision-making to enhance business performance.
• Work closely with executive leadership to support long-term organisational growth and succession planning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 810 years executive leadership experience within a large corporate environment.
• Extensive experience leading large commercial portfolios with full P&L accountability.
• Strong background within FMCG retail manufacturing sales commercial or business operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing and influencing senior executives and executive leadership teams.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with expertise in strategic planning financial management and complex negotiations.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders clients and boards.
• Strong strategic thinking resilience emotional intelligence and the ability to lead through change.
• Experience leveraging digital platforms analytics and technology to improve commercial outcomes will be advantageous.
