A leading FMCG business is looking for a hands-on Debtors Supervisor to take ownership of the full debtors function while leading a high-performing team. This role requires a strong operational leader who remains actively involved in the day-to-day management of the debtors book and is passionate about driving collections improving processes and maintaining sound financial governance.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced debtors professional with proven people management experience exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and a track record of successfully managing large and complex debtor portfolios within a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:
- Lead mentor and develop the Debtors team
- Oversee the full debtors function and ensure efficient collections processes
- Manage and control a large debtors book
- Ensure adherence to company policies procedures and governance standards
- Drive collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce debtor days
- Monitor account reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries
- Review and approve credit notes account adjustments and payment allocations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse debtor trends and provide management with accurate reporting
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices within the department
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting
- Proven experience supervising or managing a Debtors/Credit Control team
- FMCG industry experience is essential
- Strong debtors book management experience
- Solid understanding of financial controls governance and compliance
- Hands-on management style with a willingness to remain operationally involved
Qualification:
- SAICA / SAIPA / AGA(SA) or Matric & Advanced Diploma
