Job Description:
Keep critical data environments running smoothly by supporting SQL Server databases ETL processes and BI platforms. Youll play a key role in monitoring performance resolving incidents maintaining security and ensuring the reliability of business-critical data operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Database Administration BI Support Data Management or IT Support
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts
- Experience monitoring database performance availability and system health
- Understanding of SQL Agent jobs ETL processes and data refresh activities
- Exposure to database security user access management and governance principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting backups restores and disaster recovery activities advantageous
- Exposure to SSIS SSRS SSAS or Power BI advantageous
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within modern data and cloud environments
Qualification:
- National Diploma B-Tech Degree bachelors degree or equivalent qualification
- Foundational SQL and database administration knowledge
- Understanding of data warehousing ETL and BI support concepts advantageous
- Exposure to Microsoft data technologies reporting tools or cloud platforms beneficial
