Data Engineer (2 positions) 6-month contract Hybrid Rosebank

Turn complex financial data into real business impact

Do you like working where finance data and delivery meet Were looking for two experienced Data Engineers for a high-profile financial services engagement. Youll work with senior business and technology stakeholders to turn business needs into clean reliable data thats ready for production.

This is a hands-on role on an important programme. Your analysis and data skills will shape the delivery of the programme.

The opportunity

• Contract: 6 months with a possible 6-month extension
  
• Allocation: Full-time
  
• Work arrangement: Hybrid with on-site days in Rosebank and the rest remote
  

What youll do

• Gather and document business and data requirements with senior stakeholders
  
• Do business and feature analysis that turns complex needs into clear actionable outputs
  
• Write production-ready user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  
• Design review and validate data models and data mappings
  
• Find and fix data quality issues through data profiling and analysis
  
• Support data governance data lineage and data quality across the programme
  
• Help the programme hit its delivery milestones in an Agile environment
  

What youll bring

• At least 8 years of professional experience
  
• At least 5 years in financial services
  
• At least 5 years in business analysis or feature analysis
  
• At least 5 years in data analysis
  
• Experience in Agile delivery and working with senior business and technology stakeholders
  
• A bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Information Systems Data Management Engineering Mathematics or a related field
  
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (minimum)
