Job Description:
As a Data Engineer you will play a key role in designing building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports business intelligence analytics reporting and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities may include:
- Designing developing and maintaining scalable ETL and ELT pipelines
- Building reliable and high-performance data platforms and architectures
- Developing and optimising data models and data warehouse solutions
- Ensuring data quality integrity and availability across multiple systems
- Working with structured and unstructured datasets from a variety of sources
- Supporting advanced analytics business intelligence and reporting initiatives
- Collaborating with Data Analysts Data Scientists Software Engineers and business stakeholders
- Leveraging cloud platforms and modern data technologies to improve scalability and performance
- Contributing to data governance best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Data Engineering at Junior Intermediate or Senior level
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
- Experience working with modern data ecosystems and scalable architectures
- Knowledge of Spark Kafka or similar big data technologies would be advantageous
- Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work effectively within collaborative cross-functional teams
- Passion for building efficient scalable and reliable data solutions
Qualification:
- Relevant degree diploma or equivalent practical experience
- Certifications in Data Engineering Cloud Technologies Analytics or related fields would be advantageous
