Data and Retention Manager

We are looking for an experienced Data and Retention Manager to take ownership of customer data strategy analytics CRM email operations and marketing automation.

This role will use data-driven insights to improve customer retention engagement lifetime value and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the customer data and analytics strategy.
• Drive customer segmentation LTV cohort analysis and customer journey tracking.
• Analyse customer behaviour retention and commercial performance.
• Lead pricing margin and promotional analytics including price elasticity.
• Own dashboards reporting and regular data review sessions.
• Manage the email marketing calendar and campaign deployments.
• Develop and optimise automated customer journeys including:
• Welcome journeys
• Post-purchase
• Re-engagement
• Win-back
• Loyalty
• Browse abandonment
• Manage CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Act as the key point of contact for external CRM partners/agencies.
• Use AI and advanced analytics tools to improve insights and decision-making.
• Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to translate data into actionable strategies.

Requirements

• 4 years experience in data analytics customer analytics marketing analytics CRM or a related field.
• Strong experience in customer segmentation lifecycle and retention analytics.
• Advanced experience with dashboards reporting and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of email marketing and marketing automation.
• Experience with SQL or a similar data-querying language.
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Experience using AI tools within analytics and business intelligence.
• Degree in Mathematics Computer Science Business Analytics Marketing Analytics or a related field or equivalent experience.
