Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to analyse sales commercial customer and market data to support business decision-making and improve overall performance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales team management and other stakeholders to identify trends uncover business opportunities develop reporting solutions and provide actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Analyse sales customer product and market data to identify trends performance gaps business opportunities and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain sales reports dashboards and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to support sales planning forecasting and performance monitoring.
Consolidate and analyse data from multiple sources ensure data accuracy automate reporting processes and present meaningful insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Relevant degree or diploma in Data Analytics Business Analytics Statistics Information Systems Computer Science Finance Commerce or a related field.
Previous experience in Data Analytics Sales Analytics Business Intelligence or a similar role.
Microsoft Excel Intermediate to Advanced (Essential): Strong practical knowledge of formulas lookup functions pivot tables data manipulation and analysis of large datasets.
Microsoft Power BI Intermediate: Ability to develop maintain and improve interactive dashboards reports and data visualisations.
Experience working with large datasets and consolidating information from multiple sources.
Experience working with sales commercial or market data advantageous.
Strong understanding of data analysis reporting and business performance monitoring.

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical numerical and commercial thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with Sales teams management and stakeholders.
Proactive innovative and solution-oriented approach to reporting and business process improvement.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and meet deadlines.
