Job Summary
DLK is looking for a Data Analyst / Data Governance & Knowledge Management Consultant to help drive enterpriselevel governance and knowledge management initiatives. This is a chance to shape how data is managed governed and shared across a complex organisation.
What Youll Do
- Lead requirements gathering stakeholder consultations and governance workshops.
- Analyse existing data policies frameworks and standards identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement Data Governance frameworks policies standards and operating models.
- Establish governance structures: roles responsibilities committees escalation mechanisms.
- Create and maintain data taxonomies dictionaries metadata repositories and asset inventories.
- Define and implement data ownership stewardship and accountability models.
- Develop and roll out a Knowledge Management maturity roadmap improving capture organisation and sharing of institutional knowledge.
- Produce highquality analysis reports and governance artefacts for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Information/Data Management Computer Science Business Analysis or related field.
- 3 years experience in Data Governance Data Analysis Information Management or Knowledge Management.
- Proven experience developing and implementing Data Governance frameworks policies and standards.
- Handson with data dictionaries taxonomies metadata and asset inventories.
- Strong stakeholder engagement facilitation and documentation skills.
- Experience working across both business and technical stakeholder groups.
