Job Summary

DLK is looking for a Data Analyst / Data Governance & Knowledge Management Consultant to help drive enterpriselevel governance and knowledge management initiatives. This is a chance to shape how data is managed governed and shared across a complex organisation.

What Youll Do

Lead requirements gathering stakeholder consultations and governance workshops.
Analyse existing data policies frameworks and standards identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Develop and implement Data Governance frameworks policies standards and operating models.
Establish governance structures: roles responsibilities committees escalation mechanisms.
Create and maintain data taxonomies dictionaries metadata repositories and asset inventories.
Define and implement data ownership stewardship and accountability models.
Develop and roll out a Knowledge Management maturity roadmap improving capture organisation and sharing of institutional knowledge.
Produce highquality analysis reports and governance artefacts for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

NQF Level 6 qualification in Information/Data Management Computer Science Business Analysis or related field.
3 years experience in Data Governance Data Analysis Information Management or Knowledge Management.
Proven experience developing and implementing Data Governance frameworks policies and standards.
Handson with data dictionaries taxonomies metadata and asset inventories.
Strong stakeholder engagement facilitation and documentation skills.
Experience working across both business and technical stakeholder groups.
