Duties & Responsibilities
This role sits within a highly advanced dataled organization operating on a significant scale. The business places data at the centre of strategic decisionmaking and continues to invest heavily in analytics machine learning and AI to drive commercial value.
As a Data Scientist III you will lead complex data science initiatives on a long term project of 12months partner closely with senior stakeholders and mentor other data scientists while delivering scalable productionready analytics solutions that directly impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced data science and machine learning solutions aligned to business objectives

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Engineering or related field
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous
Experience:
- 38 years of development experience
- Experience working on full stack projects
- Experience in a retail commercial or IT environment (highly desired).
Skills:
- Expertise in SQL Python Tableau MatLab and Large Datasets Excel R Low Code skill Generative AI RAG (essential).
- Statistical modelling machine learning and predictive analytics
- Strong data storytelling and communication skills
