Key Responsibilities:
- Hunt down threats before they become incidents
- Build and fine-tune detection rules that catch attackers in the act
- Investigate suspicious activity across cloud networks endpoints and applications
- Improve security monitoring response processes and defensive capabilities
- Analyse logs and telemetry to uncover hidden risks
- Partner with security and engineering teams to strengthen the organisations cybersecurity posture
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience in Detection Engineering SOC Threat Hunting or Cyber Security Operations
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel Splunk QRadar or Elastic
- Knowledge of attack techniques adversary behaviour and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience investigating security incidents and analysing security events
- Scripting or automation skills with Python PowerShell or similar
- Understanding of cloud security across Azure AWS or GCP environments
