An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Customer Supply Chain Specialist to join a leading international FMCG organisation on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will have experience in customer order management inventory forecasting SAP and supply chain operations within an FMCG or retail environment. This role requires strong analytical ability stakeholder management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Customer Supply Chain Specialist (6-Month Contract)

Location: Cape Town
Contract: 6 Months

An established international organisation within the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced Customer Supply Chain Specialist to join their Supply Chain team on a six-month contract.
This role requires a hands-on professional with strong experience in customer order management inventory management forecasting and cross-functional collaboration within an FMCG or retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer orders and ensure accurate on-time order execution.
Partner with Sales Finance Demand Planning and Distribution teams to optimise service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels stock availability and replenishment activities.
Support forecasting promotional planning and continuous supply chain improvements.
Maintain accurate SAP master data and resolve order-related queries.
Analyse service levels and operational performance providing recommendations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Relevant Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Logistics Operations Management or a related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in Customer Supply Chain Customer Service Order Management or Supply Chain Operations within an FMCG or retail environment.
SAP experience is essential.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical planning and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Available immediately or on short notice will be advantageous.
