Creditors Payment Team Lead Manager ( 3 Months Contract)

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail oriented Creditors Payment Team Lead / Manager for an immediate start. This is a 3 month contract with the possibility of a further 2 month extension.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the Creditors Payment Team.
Review creditors transactions including standard vouchers third party payments and supporting documentation.
Review creditors EFT payments.
Review creditors reconciliations.
Review journals.
Prepare VAT computations and submit VAT returns via SARS eFiling.
Review open orders.
Prepare quarterly commitment (open orders) reports.
Analyse control accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

BCom or B Compt degree (3 year qualification).

Minimum Experience

At least 5 years experience in financial management and team supervision.
Minimum of 5 years recent hands on experience with VAT computations and VAT return submissions.
Hands on experience with accounting software preferably JD Edwards.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Knowledge Required

Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
National Treasury Regulations.
VAT legislation.
GRAP.
Supply Chain Management.
