Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain product and standard costing.
- Analyse cost variances and investigate key drivers.
- Perform cost and margin analysis across products and operations.
- Assist with budgets forecasts and financial planning.
- Monitor manufacturing costs overheads and production expenses.
- Prepare monthly costing and management reports.
- Assist with stock valuation and inventory reconciliations.
- Analyse production performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with production procurement and finance teams.
- Provide financial insights to management to support profitability and operational decisions.
- Maintain accurate costing models and ensure financial data is reliable.
- BCom Accounting / Finance or related qualification.
- CIMA or studying towards CIMA will be advantageous.
- 25 years experience in a Cost Accounting role.
- Experience within manufacturing FMCG production or a similar environment is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Experience with an ERP system will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and engage with operational teams.
