Cost Accountant (Inventory Control) Manufacturing

A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Cost Accountant with strong cost accounting and inventory control experience to join its fast-paced high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for landed costing inventory valuation stock integrity variance analysis and management reporting while leading a small cycle counting team.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

• BCom in Accounting Cost Accounting or Management Accounting with 35 years cost accounting and inventory control experience within a manufacturing environment essential.
• Strong SYSPRO ERP experience with proven experience in import/landed cost calculations inventory valuation reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables lookups and reconciliations with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with stock control processes cycle counting and team supervision together with the ability to develop and document clear practical SOPs and improve inventory control processes.
• Confident communicator who can work effectively in a high-volume high-pressure environment with stakeholders at all levels; CIMA progress/qualification AI tool proficiency and Johannesburg South/East Rand location will be advantageous.
