Coordinator of Mental Health Services

Required Qualifications:

1. Valid Florida Educators Certificate in Educational Leadership School Administration School Administration/Supervision or School Principal. and
2. Three (3) to Five (5) years of direct experience in collaborating with administrators families and others dealing in mental health services for students including experience working with students who are at-risk experiencing mental health or behavioral challenges or receiving mental health services.and
3. Knowledge of federal and state education laws and regulations concerning mental healthservices.

OR

1. Currently possess or eligible to receive a valid Florida Educators Certificate in School Psychology School Social Work or School Counseling OR hold a valid license as issued by the State of Florida as a clinical provider through mental health social work marriage and family or clinical psychology.and
2. Three (3) years of successful experience in the implementation of clinical programming for children and youth.and
3. Knowledge of federal and state education laws and regulationsconcerning mental healthservices.

All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The background check will include but is not limited to fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
