Continuous Improvement Specialist KZN

Our client is looking for a results-driven Continuous Improvement Specialist to join their packaging manufacturing facility in KZN. This role include improving productivity eliminating inefficiencies and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Analyse operational performance and identify production losses
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects
• Investigate recurring process problems and facilitate root cause analysis
• Implement initiatives aimed at reducing waste downtime and production costs
• Develop and track improvement plans and project outcomes
• Support standardisation of production processes and work methods
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions
• Coach employees on continuous improvement tools and methodologies
• Prepare performance reports and present improvement results to management

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BTech Industrial Engineering
• Continuous Improvement experience in manufacturing
• Packaging manufacturing experience essential
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience with Kaizen 5S root cause analysis and process optimisation
• Analytical and numerical abilities
• Project coordination and stakeholder management skills
