Construction Manager Site Agent – Civil Construction

A reputable civil construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Agent to oversee and deliver civil engineering projects. This opportunity is suited to a strong leader with proven site and project management experience across pipelines earthworks roads concrete works and reservoirs.

The successful candidate will manage construction activities project programmes site teams subcontractors quality safety and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in accordance with contractual and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan coordinate and manage civil construction projects from site establishment through to completion.
• Oversee pipelines earthworks roads concrete works reservoirs and related civil infrastructure activities.
• Manage site teams subcontractors plant materials and daily construction operations.
• Develop and monitor project programmes using MS Project.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings specifications SANS 1200 GCC and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress productivity quality costs and deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients consultants subcontractors suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Maintain project records reports site documentation and contractual correspondence.
• Promote compliance with health safety environmental and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng BSc BTech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 58 years construction management experience on civil projects.
• Professional registration with ECSA or SACPCMP will be advantageous.
• Proven civil construction project management experience involving pipelines earthworks roads concrete works and reservoirs.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and standards including SANS 1200 and GCC.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software particularly MS Project.
• Excellent leadership communication planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid drivers license.
