Construction Manager Roads & Infrastructure

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong civil infrastructure and road construction background to join their Gauteng-based team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience managing major road rehabilitation and infrastructure projects with solid technical exposure across construction activities.

Requirements:

• Professional registration with SACPCMP.
• Education: Relevant Civil Engineering qualification.
• 7 years experience within civil infrastructure and road construction.
• Strong exposure to major road rehabilitation and infrastructure projects.
• Practical knowledge of earthworks pavement and layerworks asphalt stormwater and concrete structures.
• Strong site management and project coordination capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the management and successful execution of major civil construction projects.
• Coordinate site activities and ensure construction targets are achieved.
• Supervise and monitor earthworks pavement construction and layerworks.
• Manage construction activities relating to asphalt surfacing stormwater and culverts.
• Oversee concrete and associated infrastructure works.
• Assist with planning programming resource allocation and progress monitoring.
• Work closely with project teams subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of quality safety and construction compliance.
• Assist with resolving technical and operational challenges on site.
